Sheila received her End of Life Doula certificate through the University of New England.
She has been trained as a hospice volunteer, and has extensive training in grief support with a focus on children's grief.
"I was the primary caregiver for my father when he was dying from liver cancer. While the journey was incredible sad at times, we did manage to find joy throughout the journey. I realized what a blessing it was to be able to spend this kind of precious time with my dad and to have the opportunity to openly discuss the things that matter most to him as his life was winding down to an end, including his final wishes and obituary. I feel a very strong calling to this work as I believe our send off out of this world should be as beautiful and celebrated as when we come into it."
